How to make a consumer complaint about a Florist?

  • The flowers you purchased were unsatisfactory
  • The flower delivery service you received was unsatisfactory

Florist Complaints

Before making a complaint

Please note that to be eligible to make a complaint against a florist, you must have already complained to the florist directly in writing and either:

  • Received a Final Written Response (sometimes referred to as a ‘Deadlock Letter’)
  • Given the florist 8 weeks to respond to your dispute

… You can only submit your complaint to us once at least 1 of these conditions has been fulfilled.

RetailADR can only deal with unresolved complaints.

 

Which consumer complaints in the Florists’ Sector does RetailADR cover?

The florists’ sector covers complaints against any chain florists, online florists or independent high street florists, etc.

Our Powers

We can:

  • Direct the florist to take, or desist from taking, certain steps – such as providing a refund or exchange or issuing a formal apology.
  • Direct the florist to pay you a financial award by way of compensation (up to £25,000) for proven financial loss – where appropriate and applicable.

If the florist is a member of RetailADR, they will be contractually obligated to implement our decision. However, if the florist is not a member it will be within their discretion, although in most circumstances we would expect non-member florist to reconsider their position.

If a trader has refused, ignored, or otherwise left you unsatisfied after you made a complaint to them, you can escalate matters for FREE with RetailADR.
